You already asked that question and I answered, right?

LOL Coughlin. Yes well I don't advocate drag racing on public streets. But on a race track….well occasionally cars do wheel lifts. When this happens it is only for 20 feet or so. While I drive a 140 MPH+ car I don't drive that on streets. And at that I get 33 MPG on the road. :-)

It wasn't that price controls were imposed because of the embargo - they were already in place - it was their existence that distorted the market when the embargo took effect. Allocation controls based on earlier consumption patterns under lower prices also created shortages in some areas and surpluses in others.

By-the-way, most likely we’re all going up on gas prices. We had just started a downward trend here, but that’s over now. We had three or four stations down to $3.13 a gallon, now they're back up to $3.33 and $3.35 a gallon. The last one just went back up yesterday. One station in Miami is already $3.89 a gallon. I'd get gassed up now as it's going up more. I wish I could have told everyone yesterday, but I couldn't make it online other than to post prices in the morning. Sorry. You're probably going to see gas at $3.99 to $4.07 for the average soon or more.

"How is that possible?" Why isn't it? Hitlers people did this during WWII and a lot more with coal.
